This Quick Honey Simple Syrup is delicious in cocktails, or drizzled on yogurt, pancakes, or waffles. Using only 2 ingredients, this easy recipe for simple syrup takes only minutes to prepare. It’s a great make ahead recipe when you are entertaining, and is especially wonderful in my Cider In The Rye Cocktail! This simple syrup dissolves easily in both cold or hot drinks, and adds a special flavor to lemonade or iced tea.
Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter
This Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter is absolutely heavenly, and pairs beautifully as a topping for my Perfect Pumpkin Pancakes. This variation of brown sugar butter also tastes amazing on buttermilk pancakes, waffles, and oatmeal. This easy 4 ingredient brown sugar butter recipe has just the right amount of cinnamon, and is whipped to creamy perfection! All it takes is 10 minutes to make this smooth & creamy spread, and you’ll have a specialty butter for breakfast or brunch that all your friends and family will remember! This recipe can also be made keto friendly.
Homemade Nutella
My Homemade Nutella is rich and chocolaty, and quite addicting! Dry roasted hazelnuts are blended with semi-sweet chocolate, Dutch processed cocoa, and a few other ingredients to produce a silky smooth spread that is delicious on toast, Graham crackers, fresh strawberries, ice cream, or even by the spoonful! It’s also amazing on my Nutty Indoor S’mores. This dark chocolate hazelnut spread is incredibly yummy and much healthier than the original store bought version.
Healthier Lemon Mint Aioli
Our Healthier Lemon Mint Aioli has all the flavor but only half the fat of traditional aioli recipes. Made with fresh mint, lemon zest and juice, garlic, Greek yogurt, and yes…mayonnaise, this delicious spread will enhance any sandwich. With its Mediterranean flavor profile, it’s the perfect condiment for our Turkey Feta Burger. And, it’s terrific on beef burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches, too!
Arrabbiata Sauce
If you love spicy sauces, then this Arrabbiata Sauce recipe is for you! Full of heat, this homemade tomato sauce adds a punch of flavor that is missing from a mild marinara sauce. Our favorite way to serve this is in a penne arrabbiata, but this easy sauce is great on any kind of pasta or beans, especially when finished with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. And, this delicious pasta sauce is vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free!
Quick Pickled Onions
With only one red onion, you can make three jars of our small batch, sweet and tangy Quick Pickled Onions! This ridiculously simple 5-ingredient recipe is ready in as little as 1 hour, and produces the most glorious bright pink garnish for your tacos, burgers, sandwiches, tartines, bagels & lox, pulled pork, BBQ sandwiches, and more! It not only provides a beautiful pop of color, but it’s absolutely yummy as a garnish on our Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon.
Cardamom Cream Cheese Frosting
So silky and creamy, our Cardamom Cream Cheese Frosting will become the crowning glory for your cupcakes or cakes. This frosting is subtly spiced with the warmth of ground cardamom, along with a touch of fresh citrus to brighten the flavor. Our recipe is so easy to whip up, and seriously addicting! After tasting it you’ll likely want to find an excuse to make it again for all your other bakes! Originally created as a frosting for our Kumquat Cupcakes, this recipe also complements the flavors of many other cakes.
Candied Cinnamon Pecans
Crunchy and delicious, these Candied Cinnamon Pecans make the perfect sweet snack, or topping for your dessert. Also known as praline pecans, these Candied Cinnamon Pecans are not cloyingly sweet, but they are quite addicting! They add an extra special touch to ice cream, or as a topping for our Pumpkin Spice Brioche Bread Pudding. For a wow factor, combine with our Bourbon Caramel Sauce as a decadent finish to any dessert.
Bourbon Caramel Sauce
Brown sugar and a hint of bourbon give our Bourbon Caramel Sauce a rich and decadent flavor. This is the perfect topping for our Pumpkin Spice Brioche Bread Pudding. Combined with our Candied Cinnamon Pecans, it turns plain vanilla ice cream into an impressive and very easy dessert for entertaining. This easy caramel sauce is so delicious, you will likely want to put it on everything! And, it can easily be made kid-friendly.
White Bean Roasted Garlic Dip
A delicious alternative to hummus, this quick and easy White Bean Roasted Garlic Dip is healthy & so flavorful. We roasted garlic to mellow out its sharpness, used buttery cannellini beans, fresh herbs, added fresh lemon juice and zest to brighten up the flavor, and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. Served with homemade crostini, our white bean dip can be made ahead of time and makes the perfect appetizer for any gathering.
Citrus Vinaigrette
Our Citrus Vinaigrette has a beautifully bright flavor that will perk up any salad. What gives this salad dressing its uniqueness? We used fresh ingredients, as well as sweet and savory elements, to create this lovely vinaigrette. For a twist on the typical citrus salad dressing recipes, we used the juice and zest of clementines, lemon, fresh rosemary, coarse Dijon mustard, and a beautiful extra virgin olive oil. Simple ingredients, but when combined, they make the perfect vinaigrette to dress our Fresh Citrus Salad. This recipe is vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, healthy, and super delicious!
